I hope the few #Discord servers I occasionally check have the good sense of moving to #Matrix. Or #XMPP, or #IRC, or #DeltaChat, or #Stoat, or #Zulip, or #Jami, or #Briar, or #RocketChat, or #Mumble... heckssake there are WAY TOO MANY open-source services you can move your chatroom to.

If we've learned something, it's that there has to be some group lobbying high and low to kill online privacy using any valid excuse possible. Maybe the companies profiting from offering age verification services? Governments willing to crack down on dissent? Moralists? Ultranationalists?
