Summer weather means so much to me, that in the times where I don't have it, my life revolves around media & memories that remind me of having it again, with much of my productivity going dormant until then.

Taking a Cisco CCNA course when I was in secondary school (high school) was one of the best decisions I made in my life.
I was messing with server racks well before then, but as a kid it was the first time I got to feel validated & supported by other adults for my interests in data infrastructure.

It’s cool how ubiquitous HLS is for streaming media delivery at this point. Even in my experimenting with bleeding edge features, client support is solid as well.

NVIDIA's "Pulsar" dynamic black frame insertion stuff is super cool, I wish I was into gaming so I had a reason to take advantage of stuff like that. I don't own any HFR displays, though at least custom LUT calibration is starting to arrive in consumer displays, so perhaps soon.
