Author and journalist Dominick Dunne (1925-2009) was born 100 years ago today in Hartford, Connecticut. He was best known for his coverage of high-profile court cases, beginning with the 1983 trial for the murder of his daughter, Dominique Dunne. He was with Vanity Fair magazine for 25 years.

Trump has pursued gov’t cuts, shrinking domestic spending to its lowest level in modern history, by targeting federal climate, education, health, housing and research programs, and aid to the poor. The admin is pumping money into the military and mass deportations.
