Fish 'n Chips? No.
Sticks 'n Bits? Maybe.
How about just some Fish and Potatoes.
A paper plate on a speckled countertop holds several breaded fish sticks and a serving of crispy tater tots. To the left of the plate is a small glass bowl containing a light red dipping sauce made from horseradish and ketchup, suggesting a casual, comfort-food snack.

Grateful for the ones who support us. To our friends, and especially our sons: THANK YOU for standing with us without hesitation. You remind us why this move matters.

Relocating is hard, especially 10 hours away. The packing, the logistics, the stress. But the hardest part is when family gives you grief for leaving, without considering why: to grow, to improve, to build something better.
Relocating is never easy, especially when it’s to another state 10 hours away. Between packing, coordinating movers, renting trucks, updating addresses, and managing logistics, the stress is real. But the hardest part isn’t the boxes or the miles. It’s when family members react with disappointment or guilt, not because of what we’re doing, but because of how it affects them.

We didn’t make this decision lightly: we chose to move to better ourselves, to grow, and to create a stronger foundation for our future. That deserves understanding, not judgment.

To those who’ve supported us, thank you: To our friends who cheered us on, and to our sons (who didn’t even blink when we said we were moving), your love and trust mean everything. You remind us why this journey is worth it.

Here’s to new beginnings. Even when they come with tough goodbyes.

Dangerous? Do you mean "objects falling on head and a trip to the hospital" dangerous?

Wait . . . You have a garage?

You know you're getting old when one Double IPA and a sodium-packed Chinese food feast leave you waking up like you partied with rockstars.

Last night: I deserve this.

This morning: I deserve electrolytes and a nap.

First BSOD since February.
This setup’s been rock solid… until AutoCAD decided to throw hands.
Mid-project. Time-sensitive. Naturally.
Stop code: 0x00000000 — vague enough to be insulting.
85% collected… unlike my deadline.
A computer screen displays a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error message stating the system ran into a problem and needs to restart, with progress at 85%. Behind the error message, part of the Autodesk AutoCAD logo is visible, suggesting the crash occurred while using AutoCAD.

Picked up these locally made gems from Raub's Farm Market and gave them a little pan-fry love myself. Crispy edges, warm filling, total comfort. Nothing beats cooking up something local and delicious to fuel the afternoon.
A plate of golden-brown pierogies, pan-fried to a crisp and arranged neatly. The dumplings have slightly blistered edges and a warm, inviting sheen. They sit on a simple dish atop a rustic surface, suggesting a cozy, homemade lunch. Steam rises gently, hinting they were freshly cooked.

Me: Time for bed.
Also me at 2:47 AM: What if my desktop theme changed color based on the genre of the track I’m listening to—and subtly judged my taste in psybient?

Here’s to many more years of tail wags, stubborn standoffs, and unconditional love. May he live another 7 years (at least!)—still sassy, still snuggly, and still the undisputed king of our hearts.

Whether he's side-eyeing us for daring to sit in his spot or zooming around the house like a caffeinated gremlin, Leroy brings joy, laughter, and just the right amount of chaos to our family.

Born on this day in 2018, and stormed into our lives that November like the legend he was named after.

From the moment we brought him home, this Boston terrier has been all sass, all heart, and all snorts.
Collage of seven photos featuring Leroy Jenkins, a black and white Boston Terrier, in various playful and relaxed poses. He’s seen lounging indoors, sitting alertly, and playing with a blue ball on a grassy lawn. His expressive face and signature black-and-white markings highlight his sassy, spirited personality across each moment.

If I can't figure out a reason to stay away, I just return to my desk, ready to tackle the next challenge.

It's like taking a victory lap.

But here's the funny part: once I'm up and walking, I realize I have no real purpose for being away from my desk. My mind starts racing with questions like, "Do I need a cup of coffee? A glass of water? A snack? A bathroom break?"

Does anyone else have this similar post-coding ritual? Or is it just me?

I've developed a quirky little habit whenever I solve a challenging coding problem. The moment my code works exactly as I want it to, I get up and walk away from my desk.
The image shows a computer screen with code written in a Lisp-like language, likely AutoLISP, used for AutoCAD automation. The code checks for a list of utilities and prints each item’s category and symbol. It also lists electrical drops from the project file. The text editor uses color highlighting to make the code easy to read.

Technically, wouldn't it be a re-re-release?
Unless, it is the original, theatrical release that is going to be released.

You know it's a sad world that we live in when there is a subreddit for true stories that you could have sworn were from The Onion.

I also believe the current payout structure unfairly benefits AI content and high-profile artists, leaving smaller, human creators undercompensated and overlooked.

My listening experience feels curated by algorithms that prioritize the top 1%, rather than my actual preferences.

I'm canceling because the platform has become oversaturated with AI-generated music and mainstream content controlled by major labels. It's increasingly difficult to discover authentic, independent artists that align with my tastes.

Honestly the worst thing about this infestation of AI ‘art’ is that when somebody actually does post their work which they created using their imagination, that people will just brush it off as AI too. That’s the real tragedy here.

Meet Leroy! Sometimes we call him Leeroy Jenkins because, well, he tends to charge headfirst into things.
