I chisel down every record of all the stupid/shitty/embarrassing things I ever did and or say on a granite stele in the back of my head like Ozymandias

"And on the pedestal, these words appear: My name is Chris. Look on my failures, ye mighty, and despair."
Part of me wishes deep down that I never joined the internet in the first place. Part of me wishes I could just hide in a room until everyone forgets I ever existed. Then and only then will I reemerge to build a new online persona separate from all my past errors.
Yes I will shout into the void. At least I'm not directing it to anyone who isn't in the mood to hear an internet stranger ramble about random shit.

Still can't find a good therapist to help me through my legion of problems both in and out of my control.
Sometimes I look my own canvas (digital and paper) and I can't even bring myself to sketch a box.

What happened to me? I've been trying to "make it" with my artwork for 5 years now and I still feel so far behind, I can't think of myself as anything other than an amateur. Like a kid on Deviantart.
When I listen to this song, I imagine myself in a warm tub in a high rise futuristic apartment on a cloudy evening.

I miss Daft Punk man :(

Ngl I would draw that (when I'm out of my seemingly neverending cycle of artblocking and self loathing)

It's very cute.
Well it's getting late. Gotta wake up for the school day (I just remembered how long it's been since the last full artwork I've made and the thought of me never reaching the level of my contemporaries haunts me every single night, and I know damn well it's my own damn fault).
And every time... I feel like the stupid asshole for it, because I blew my first impression and that's it.

Disappointment in the Game of Life indeed 🙃
I only just realized how much of a recurring problem that is with me (that and sending walls of text in DMs that are either just me rambling about random things on my mind, or causally venting).

I don't mean to piss people off but I don't think before I act have the time.
Me looking at myself in the mirror after once again talking to an internet stranger as if they've known me for years and then getting blocked for it (this has been the 4th time in recent memory that I made that mistake)
The problem is, Giancarlo Esposito has range (especially in comedy), but all the big budget tv shows that cast him (The Mandalorian, The Boys, etc.) demand him to just play Gustavo Fring but as an Imperial Officer or Gustavo Fring but as the head of a superhero company.
*they're (Minor spelling mistake. Billions must perish)
The worst part about celebrity voice actors is that most of the time, they never play anyone but themselves in whatever character their voice acting.

It's like all the studios that cast Giancarlo Esposito only to make him play Gustavo Fring over and over and OVER again.
I've had enough. I said nothing wrong.

I realized just today that I forgot Lexie's freckles on the latest piece. I'm upset against myself at an extreme level.
So here' her again, this time WITH HER LOVELY FRECKLES !

And I promise, if I get 1k likes on this one, I'll post the sexy alt, because FRECKLES need love!

Lexie, my story's MC with long pink hair tied in a ponytail and teal eyes with white pupils. She's wearing a form-fitting, light blue and white jumpsuit with gold accents, which she is unzipping, revealing a significant portion of her chest. The background depict a locker room, with some metal wardrobes behind her.
Now you're just taking the piss on purpose. I've had enough.
So your response to a legitimate grievance that I have about celebrity voice acting is to call it "bait"?

There's no point in arguing if you're not going to have a good faith discussion with me, you actual clown.
How about reallocate the budget away from hiring celebrity voice actors for minor roles for no other reason than because they're popular (like Johnathan Banks and Aaron Paul)? It's a matter of using a budget wisely as much as it is treating animators fairly.
Now draw them in a Battle of the Bands with Gorillaz (spoiler alert, Daft Punk stomps both).
Feel that. Been there (way more times than I will admit 😐)

Mostly I just sketch in a small sketchbook I keep in my bag.
