Situations and events can change in the blink of an eye whether we like it or not. Life goes on, and it’s not necessarily a bad thing. Changes in habits, routines, careers, etc. are what keep reality refreshing.

Day 3 of training on the new day job while holding down my night job part-time.
Time to burn the candle at both ends for just a bit.
We need the money and I needed this fresh start with a career pivot.
Writing and releasing music under Cucurbitophobia will always be here as my passionate hobby.

Ozzy, my one of two black cats, getting the true love he deserves.
Freddie, his twin, is gallivanting by the automatic feeder patiently waiting for it to go off any minute.

Nexus Insidias turns 5 years old this year.
The opening title track is a raw 17 minute Atmospheric Metal/Industrial opus driven by guitars, drum machines, and haunting synth pads. Inspired by film scores of Terminator, Alien, Lifeforce, and Fright Night.

Save your money and find legit ways to advertise and promote; either on your own or with credible services that don’t offer false promises, bogus playlists, or feedback.
I get it. Nothing is free, and promoting/marketing music does cost money.
But don’t fall for the blatant scams.

You can tell me that 19th Century Romantic era Classical music or 20th Century Trad Jazz is better or worse than 1990’s Death Metal, 2000’s Crunk or 2010’s Drum n’ Bass, and I’ll tell you you’re neither right nor wrong, depending on the criteria, circumstances, and cultural lens you’re looking in.

I’m currently watching season 2 of Channel Zero.
I’m highly enjoying this Horror anthology series.
It’s like Black Mirror but with less focus on technology and futurism and more emphasis on dread and terrifying visuals.

For all newcomers who have encountered my page, first of all, thank you for the follow.

I have promoted myself much recently, but have not talked about what I do or why I do it.

I mainly create Horror themed dissonant, discordant music rooted in a neoclassical and avant-garde framework.

Quality over mere quantity.

I’ll be upfront:

Being a recording artist is a hobby for me.

Of course, it’s a passionate pastime where I put my 100% effort into all of it.

That said, don’t expect me to go out and tour with this. Don’t expect me to write to chase popular trends in hopes of being the next big thing.

Despite being railed by critics, I really enjoyed HIM.
It’s a football themed Art Horror film where the premise portrays how compulsive self-sacrifice - doing anything it takes for success and renowned fame - can lead to ultimate self-sabotage.
