Over 100 children living with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis got the chance to try their hands at being a scientist at the official launch of the Cambridge Centre for Children’s Gut Health.

A new radiotherapy machine is set to be delivered to Cambridge University Hospitals, helping cancer patients receive faster treatment.

The new system will be used to treat many complex cancers, including head, neck and gynaecological tumours.

The National Learning Disabilities Improvement Standards Review: Family/Carer Survey provides insight into the experiences and opinions of those with learning disabilities who have accessed hospital care in the last year.

Please wash your hands with soap and water as you enter the building. Some bugs are tough to get rid of and hand sanitisers alone won’t work.

We have put additional measures in place to protect our patients and staff:

Visiting hours have reduced to 11:00-20:00 for all inpatient areas, excluding maternity.
Maximum of 2 visitors at a time. Both aged over 12.
Please do not visit if you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of infection.
