The Czech Citizens’ Parliament on Media and Democracy—the first of its kind in the country—has published its resolutions, outlining claims and demands to strengthen the democratic role of the media in Czech society.

The Fifth Plenary Meeting of #MeDeMAP has just started at the Chapel at the Voršilská Centre of Charles University in Prague with welcoming remarks by @nicocarpentier.bsky.social.

Nico Carpentier (Charles University), Anne Grüne (Uni Erfurt), Tanja Thomas (Uni Tübingen) and Jeffrey Wimmer (Uni Augsburg) discussed the new book Democracy and Media in Europe.

The panel on global approaches to media and democracy at the 10th MCAP-BNU International Media Conference took place on 20 February. It was a great opportunity to discuss the #Medemap book on Democracy and Media in Europe and to investigate how it works in the Pakistani context.
