Here's my finished Dominator Engine. I magnetized the weapons so I can change load outs. The color scheme is inspired by Paint By Blunders. C&C welcome.
Thank you for that suggestion - I've never thought of using greyscale. Im going to give that a shot. I always struggle picking colors - im trying to step outside of my ruthless by picking some colors, like green, that I don't use widely.
I finished up my War Despot as the test for my Helsmith scheme. I wanted to lean away from the old school red and do a color I don't use a lot. C&C welcome!
In Horde mode a GM runs the Horde. They spawn each turn by rolling on a random table - I think they recommend Death Guard or Tyranids as the Horde. The defenders need to control Objectives that let them buy things like CP or reinforcements. The Horde uses an AI to determine how it behaves.
Tonight I played 40k Horde mode from Poorhammer. It was my Death Korps along side White Scars, Dark Angels and Kroot (!) against Death Guard. We managed a victory after 4 brutal turns.
I finished up counters for my Helsmiths of Hashut. The box containing Daemonic Power & Desolation counters is from CHRANDGOW. The other counters are from TODFTHR. Both are on Cults3d.
The decal came out great, then. Ive played around with some custom decals and ive never gotten color ones to come out any good. Did you use white film to print it on?
Beautiful work! I live the classic banner design - your freehand is amazing. Can I ask where we you got the axes? They definitely tie in to that old school vibe.
This morning I finished up this Krieg-ified version of Ursula Creed. The only change it to add a Krieg Officer's head, which I printed using an stl from Tiny Legends.
Tahlia Vedra Lioness of the Partch painted up in my custom Cities of Sigmar scheme. I managed to paint her in a single day; the Manticore is all Contrast Paints.
