Coming later in 2025 is an all new kit of Frank Frazetta's Dracula Meets The Wolfman. The model is sculpted by Jeff Yagher, based on the Frazetta cover art for Creepy #7 back in February 1966. I've been told this is a large kit with two figures and the big base.

I've finally caught up (mostly) after the IPMS National Convention last weekend. The event was a blast on so many levels. Sales were excellent, the turnout was great. The contest was impressive. The best thing was to see all my friends and customers.

Friday AM standup meeting, with coffee. My life is getting weird

A desk with a dozen flying saucer shaped model kits. None are finished models, they are gathered around a scale model of the Capital Building in Washington DC, depicting a scene from the movie Earth Vs. the Flying Saucers. A full cup of coffee is on the left, white mug with DANGER RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS as a warning label. It’s unclear whether the coffee is any good. Behind the models, laying against the back wood paneled wall is a signed autograph of Dirk Benedict in his Starbuck character from the old Battlestar Galactica. In the middle behind the models is a bright painting of a spaceship descending on a farm with a bright blue sky. And holding up the painting is a gigantic coffee mug with a Star Wars Stormtrooper face graphic. This mug holds many small paint brushes.

I did a quick build up of the new Konga kit from Monarch Models. I really enjoyed the model. Much like the old Aurora kits, it was a quick, simple build. I decided to focus on the figure and a few simple tricks to improve the model.
