well i hope you change your mind about ai art someday. for what it's worth, i don't go around talking trash about other peoples' art or calling them imposters. you can't really say that about the anti-ai crowd.

this is what spawns the "intentionality" argument. The idea that the art itself deserves no respect because it was only made by a computer and the computer doesn't understand what it did.

i usually ask them to point out which paintbrush of theirs understands intentionality.

it is an intentional attempt to coerce and cajole ai artists into giving up. the logic is that if you're not allowed to take pride in your work then you will quit. the method is refusing to acknowledge that the ai artist has in any way taken part in the process. only the computer gets the credit
