music is a miracle. there is no moment in history that music was invented. it was created by every culture independently of one another, and when those cultures met, they were like "oh, you invented this, too?"

Saw Weapons yesterday; a really, very good mashup of skin-crawling horror and modern day fairytale dressed in true crime procedural duds and mundane smalltown minutiae leading with immense tension and slow-burn reveals only to release quite magnificently.
