It’s been cold and rough in NY. So we went on an indoor wellbeing walk, got some steps in, visited colleagues around ⁦‪@nyphospital‬⁩ Queen, drank some hot tea and coffee, then back to work!

📈 Rising use of SGLT2i is leading to increased eDKA admissions
🚫eDKA LACKS significant hyperglycemia, resulting in delayed diagnosis and treatment

Bottom line: as SGLT2i use expands, we need heightened awareness of eDKA
