It's like a little digital tether. It is funny when travelling how much you realise your ability to withstand the unfamiliar is just being able to google your way through uncertainty. I miss the days of backpacking without any mobile data. No idea how I did that

10+ hour manila airport layover. my body wants to return to the soil. i have ordered five hot chocolates from filipino starbucks. the only hint of human connection is the barista who frowns at me for camping their one power plug for hours. which bodily function will fail first
