Castle Campbell- the location above Dollar Glen is the standout feature. From the approach road the view of the fortress, peaking from the tree tops is a moment you will always remember. Easy to visit by bike from Alloa, details on my blog: bit.ly/2jUYf5a

Tullibardine Chapel is 3.5 miles from Gleneagles station. Built by one of the wealthiest families in Scotland. The Murray's founded Tullibardine chapel around 1446 as a place of private worship and burial. It features in my cycle route to Drummond Castle: bit.ly/2pjOEfl

Culzean Castle. Of all the castles in Scotland this one has the most to see and do. Not just the castle, but the grounds. This is a full on castle experience, perhaps the best in Scotland. Have you been? What do you think?

Try this great little cycle route. Take a train to Alloa and then there's an easy to access 7 mile traffic-free cycle route that transports you to the pretty town of Dollar and the spectacularly located Castle Campbell.
