I'm still impressed that Sonic 3 was able to keep the box office revenue of a prequel to a Disney remake at bay for almost 2 months.

That was no small feat, and it's one that I hope continues to happen.

Finding out that Dragon Ball Daima's "Jaka Jaan" is a rearranged version of Zedd's "Out of Time"

Finding out the above info because the latter song played IN A WALMART
I might just be at the point with this platform (Bluesky) that I was at with Twitter, where I don't even want to have the native Android app installed, because it doesn't work as well, whereas the Web app works a lot better and more consistently.

Now the web app just needs push notifications.
I know that much lol.

I'm just surprised that there wasn't ANY division of Sony that could've released this movie alongside Aniplex USA. Columbia? Sony Pictures Classics?
He hit that Family Guy fall pose 😂
I'm surprised that Aniplex USA is going through Fathom Events to release this, and, you know, not their parent company, Sony/their corporate sibling, Crunchyroll.

But yeah, with Chainsaw Man, if Crunchyroll isn't willing to license Season 1 to Toonami, I should NOT be seeing ads for the movie on the block.
At least with Demon Slayer, Toonami has aired most of the series, but the Toonami-only DS viewers would've been lost if they went to go see the movie, because the block is always at least one season behind.

Since #Primal S3 is possibly coming to #Toonami (in rerun form) in January, I guess that just means that we've got to get through the battle shonen hell this holiday season.
Crunchyroll strikes again, but this time, with the #ChainsawMan movie.
#Toonami
Sony is all too happy to advertise on a block they won't license certain shows to. Weird.
#DemonSlayer #Toonami
You might be right, but there's also the possibility that Amazon locked down the New P&S rights before Sony got its stake in Kadokawa. Amazon has been getting back into anime ever since late last year, after all.

- Adult Swim starts licensing (non-anime) shows from companies other than WB and Disney
- Either Boomerang or Discovery Family shuts down

- Cartoon Network eventually becomes a network of mostly non-WB (including former original) shows
- Toonami doesn't last a whole lot longer after the split, due to anime licensing costs and severed ties to WB for original content
- Both CN and AS start losing rights to former originals

As far as the airing schedule goes, it'll likely air on Thursday nights, because of Old Man Genndy, but I hope they'll rerun the episodes each Saturday in #Toonami (effectively ~48 hours) after their initial premiere, so that I can ignore the Thursday premieres, just like I did with S2.

I will say that a part of me is disappointed that we won't be following the adventures of Spear and Mira's daughter, as well as one of Fang's children.

I'm still excited about what Zombie Spear will get into, though.

I shouldn't have spoken definitively, as it hasn't been confirmed which company is keeping Toonami and its mascots post-split yet.

I don't know if we'll get an official confirmation for that until after the split is effective and things change or stay the same, tbh.
That could be complicated, because Toonami will be part of Discovery after the split and Space Ghost is currently (and will still be) part of WB.

I could still see Toonami live on after the block ends, though.
