Maybe not movie screenings, but my work place know that all my vacations goes to furry events. They are also as non-negotionable as our law-enforced minimum yearly vacation days.

The torture of waiting on a package, and hoping it will arrive a day earlier than scheduled. Got some social plans this weekend, and hoping it arrives before then.

Very True. It's what I think is behind why wealth charts look like ass at the last 5%. Those are people with a hoarding disorder. They could have lived a perfectly happy life, but they are not and try to compensate by getting more and more. Only properly taxing them can safely help them.
Guillermo del Toro on wealth: "a wealthy man is a man who has enough, not a man that needs more. If you have enough to invite someone for a beer? You're rich. If you have a yacht, planes, islands, and you still need more? You're not rich."
