doing my best XD picked up pikmin bloom so the amount of cardio I've been doing has exploded exponentially, gaining stamina gains 🏃

Ohhhhh that makes a lot of sense
Thank you!

hey #portfolioday - here's a couple of my old favourites!
a drawing of a bunny lying down in the woods, holding a 4 leaf lucky clover. a drawing of a cat drifting down a river by sunset, surrounded by coral. a drawing of a cat, running across a fallen tree in front of a waterfall during the night.

It's called crisp brush, a friend kindly gave it to me from a pack they bought (they don't remember exactly where it's from)

upon drawing this I realised how long it had been since I last actually drew for myself but also intentionally drew a cute thing and it healed me

but also i’m obsessed with pikmin bloom

people don't appreciate quality work the same as mass produced underpaid worker regurgitation 😞

drew a friend's pikmin for a lil draw swap 💃
a hairband wearing rock pikmin holds a white pikmin that's wearing a 3 leaf clover

mmm I don’t think there was a lot of inherent masculinity specific imagery from what I could tell. My observation of the paintings was they depicted scenes really well to tell a story so don’t think that would be the case
cysketch.bsky.social
That's the mystery!!! Like did they have so much pit hair it exploded out the seams what happened
cysketch.bsky.social
nah really think they were just pit hair positive ngl 😂
cysketch.bsky.social
So now I'm like was the fashion back then unable to contain the armpit hair is that what's going on 😂
Because it only clearly showed up on clothed men and not... The half naked guys so what is it 🤔
cysketch.bsky.social
So there's really beautifully painted (and gold gilded) pages and I noticed that some of them specifically had dark spots around the armpits but only very specific people and not everyone?! My mom thought it was a mistake and I'm like no this had to be approved by professionals + gifted to kings

My other highlight - punch daggers
Idk I'm so used to seeing decorated ceremonial swords in media it didn't occur to me that these could be the same way and it's so cool

Idk why it feels grandma coded because of the colour choice, she'd be ready to throw down with pretty daggers

My personal favourite carpet, it's so cool
Interesting how geometric the shapes feel, it's very akin to pixel art vibes
cysketch.bsky.social
Love how someone was like "you know what would be really cool, an object made purely out of oyster shells" and then it actually looks friggin metal
cysketch.bsky.social
Shoutout to the funky creature coming out of creature carpet that happened they're so real for that

But also HONSE and the bird is the best guy ever
Genuinely impressed how well the horse is depicted
cysketch.bsky.social
The other one was more variety based and the end had a similar thing where you could actually touch real carpets to appreciate the detail
cysketch.bsky.social
This exhibit also had a part at the end where it showed the process of how the marble inlaid tiles were made and you could touch the final product which was really cool
cysketch.bsky.social
Like why is it so deeply satisfying to just see an entire floor tile displayed on the wall like that
