I just made a simple change to my game code that makes a giant optimization improvement. Instead of updating all the plants when the day ticks, I’m randomly assigning an update hour to each plant which spreads out the updates. Now my world can get substantially bigger. #solodev #godot #indiedev

Some additional updates. I've updated all of the artwork for the trees, shrubs, and grasses so that each plant has its own artwork. Still more work to do to get the look just right but it's coming together!
