Last June, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and was overweight. As of today, I am down 34.5lbs with 20lbs to go.

I have had the same issues in past , I've mostly used carabiner's. But you would need a paddle with a hole on the handle and some sort of lanyard to attach to.
I have only seen holsters for floggers
