If you ever move to the capital of Montana and set up a little shop where you weave handled picnic food containers, I recommend naming your business...

A: A bomb in a Bull snowman.

I will never understand how God sending his "Son" to earth isn't a polytheistic belief. It's 2 distinct beings: One is the Father, sacrificing someone he loves; and one is the Son, enduring something awful for a noble reason.

My mind is simply unable to believe in the Trinity.

Feel like tossing a little support to an underpaid dad who writes on the side in the pre-dawn darkness about fatherhood & mental health & concert road trips and who would never dream of outsourcing even one (1) word of his writing to AI?

Then sign up for my Substack! ✍🏼

One thing people never like to talk about is that FrankenBerry is misnamed. Please, everyone. Get it right.

It's TheCreatureBerry.

I view myself as a skilled writer & an impeccable proofreader. I take pride in being an English major with a command of the written word. I even won a spelling bee once!

And so I gasped in horror today when I saw the word "teached" on my screen, which I had just typed as the past tense of "teach."

The National Board of Jeremy has
[too early & with way too little data]

Sinners
Train Dreams

~ Honorable Mention ~
Final Destination: Bloodlines

The Christmas music genre boasts some
of the most hauntingly beautiful, & also
some of the most nauseating, gratingly
soulless songs that were ever written.

For some odd reason, retail
stores play none of the former.

And almost nothing *but* the latter.

Normalize asking off work on Wednesday to go see Frankenstein at the local art-house theater & take a hike by yourself, solely because you have vacation time to burn & Guillermo del Toro is amazing & hiking is good for the soul.

To me, parenting is — without a doubt — the single greatest joy on earth.

But if you’re an ardent fan of reading more than 2 pages of a book at a time, or if you greatly enjoy having adult conversations made up of uninterrupted sentences, I don’t necessarily recommend it.

Normalize:

~ embracing your current age,
~ looking forward to the next decade, &
~ forcefully rejecting the boring, stale belief that our best years are behind us & we should resent that we, just like every other being that ever lived, are ephemeral.

Enjoy your time here! 🌎

If a thing is artificial,
then it is not intelligent.

Intelligence, by definition,
can not be artificial.

What is human
is what is enduring
is what is valuable
is what is real.

And we are,
above all,
human.

I believe that someday, before my kids are grown, a reckoning will take place. The hyper-corrupt Trump & all his complicit sycophants will finally be brought low by the power of the judicial system, and by the righteous fury of we the people.

I *choose* to believe that is true.

“AI, particularly generative AI, I am not interested... I’m 61 & I hope to be able to remain uninterested in using it at all until I croak… Somebody wrote me an email, said: ‘What is your stance on AI?’ & my answer was very short. I said, ‘I’d rather die'."

Here's a fun movie fact. The official title of the uber-popular Japanese anime film that made $100 million in 10 days of U.S. release is...

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no
Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity
Castle – Part 1: Akaza Returns

3 COLONS & 2 DASHES IN 1 TITLE!
