This goober makes me happy.

I lived in the UK - life was spent traveling, meeting new people, being a scientist. I was lucky; a shoestring budget and a list of chronic illnesses still couldn't stop me.

When Brexit happened, it was terrifying.

Across the pond: Trump lost, and Biden won. Hope?

I moved to the USA.

Ha. Haha.

If you are a scientist and don't support:
Diversity, don't use more than one instrument/analysis technique;
Equity, don't apply for funding-do it on your own;
Inclusion, don't gather more than one data point for your analysis;
Accessibility, don't use a lab/instrument you didn't build yourself.

A radical concept, I know.

I've seen some conspiracies about why chicken eggs are going up, but chicken meat isn't as affected. The truth is that layers are kept alive about ten times longer than broilers; they often aren't at full productivity until 5-6 months old. The time and costs associated are vastly different.

Everyone needs a happy little vallhund on their feeds.
