While we may one day re-join the EU that can only start with deeper integration through security and economic ties. From their we can rebuild our European ties to eventually rejoin the EU. We can not do this too quickly and have to bring the public with us.

We didn't get the main subject of our argument wrong. If you get the name wrong it shows you know very little about 1984. Comparing us to Winston Smith in general shows you know nothing about 1984 - Winston Smith was the protagonist fighting the authoritarian state. You are complimenting us.
