I just watched @sirmattbourne.bsky.social Swan Lake on BBC 4. I saw it in Birmingham last year and thought it was one of the best things I've ever seen. I wasn't sure i'd enjoy an older filmed version as much, but I was totally captivated by it from the very beginning to the very end, loved it ❤️

Not as many as some, about a dozen or so times. I had quite a lot years of seeing no live music but the lockdown years made me realised what i'd been missing so I try see them and as many new bands as I can, isn't always easy, but always is worth it 😁

It's been an awesome re-discovery. I'm going to the James tour next year with Doves supporting, I didn't properly appreciate them first round but lately i've been listening to them more, finding extra levels to their sound and totally loving it 😁

Okay #DavidsMonthOfMusic peeps

So far there's never been a challenge in November but as the hashtag has grown I didn't want to not have anything this month. So I've come up with something a bit different...

As always I hope you have fun and find/rediscover music you love!

I thought we could try something different this month...

Connections!

Day 1, pick a song. Any sing. Day 2, pick a song that is connected in some way to the previous day and each day just keep finding links to the song from the day before.

You can be as basic or as nerdy as you like!

A few ideas for links:
Written by the same person. Toured together. Guest artist. On the same soundtrack album. Same producer. A cover version of the previous/next artist. Songs have the same name. Or anything glaringly obvious or deliciously obscure as you can find!

Hope you enjoy the challenge and look forward to seeing the unexpected places this journey might take you! I'll be back to our scheduled prompts next month. Have fun and be good to each other.

That is awful, I really hope there is something that can be done, what a twisted world we are living in. The Government really need to step up and remove themselves from that toxic platform, it is disappointing, but not surprising that they haven't done so already.
