They are both VERY dark & have great writing, acting, & kill scenes, but The Boys is raunchy political satire. There's nothing funny about Brightburn, which is rife with more innate, visceral evil. The Boys is like if Superman was a Nazi. Brightburn is like if Superman was Satan. Akin to Invicible.

I get into very few TV shows and don't like most of the horror shows people recommend. I completely missed The Haunting of Hill House and had no idea how good it is. I could NOT stop watching, binged it straight through!

Yaroslav “Slava” Giler, 25, was murdered by #Hamas on #October7.
On October 13, two years later, his mother Yelena took her own life.
They are survived by Alex 'Sasha' Giler, who has lost his brother and mother.
Yelena is the 2nd suicide in 2 days related to the attack.
