Oh interesting, thanks Mark. I was making that comment based on the book as a whole without actually having read very much of it which is never a good idea to do in any variety of dedicated research lol

Though I’m not sure if inspired is quite the right term, it was just nice to read a clearly written theoretical framework for the weird online spaces I inhabit on a daily basis

Useful for trying to explain The Vibe I am going for with the BRFF page, but also just a really good essay which I was really inspired by during my media theory module earlier this year.

Feeling a lot of solidarity with sex workers today; I just can’t imagine how excruciating it must be to be fighting for fair working conditions around all of the ‘well actually sex work wouldn’t exist under communism’ bullshit coming from unions that should be prioritising mutual support.
