I’ve enjoyed most of my viewing of Star Trek: The Next Generation so far, but one episode of the Second Season makes reference to “subatomic bacteria” and I’m doing my best to not go into conniption fits.

It's not a good sign when a episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation reminds you of Spaceballs, a movie you absolutely despise.

Shelby Oaks, Chris Stuckman's first feature, is an atmospheric, creepy little gem that seems just right for the Halloween season. While not a great movie, it does a lot well, and made me think of Charles L.She Grant's Oxrun Station novels in its blend of horror set pieces and interesting characters.
