at least "It can't happen in the way I had hoped." Meanwhile, frankly, no one seems to be able to acknowledge that this could possibly actually be painful to a man. Instead of helping me try to grieve the possibility that I've had to bury, people just try to slop rose-colored paint over my life >

I've seen this cross my feed in reposts a few times, and... it's weird, I guess, but I've only seen the other side of it. I actually did want kids. Except I suck at dating, apparently, and never found a partner. Eventually, I hit a point where I had to say, even if not "it will never happen," >

Panel 2- The same child, now a teenager, is being told, "You'll change your mind when you're older." To which the teen responds, "I doubt that"

Panel 3- Now an adult, someone off screen asks them, "Aren't you thinking of having kids?" To which they respond, "Nope"

Panel 4- The same person, an older adult now, is being told, "better have kids soon, or it'll be too late!" to which they respond, "That's fine"
