Kazys Ladiga was a Lithuanian general and one of the first volunteer officers of the Lithuanian army. He commanded the "Vilkmergė Group" during Lithuanian-Soviet war in 1918. When soviets occupied Lithuania in 1940 he was sentenced to death and executed the same year.
