You experience the healthcare system today and you're like "man this kinda sucks, could def be better" and then you look up anything pre-ACA and it's like "The insurance company has prima nocta rights and can harvest your organs if you don't pay $800 for tylenol"
You'll never go back to your old life
the apple maggot is just waiting to do this in the US
Well it is/was a terrible train station anyway at least
Princeton press has a 70% sale thru October if u didn't know
It goes under after CID and over at symphony
The existing tunnel crosses the Great Northern within like 5 ft, twice
You know I'm not going to take a stance on vengeance but I feel like 90% of "vengeance consumes your soul and leaves you a hollow husk" stories are written by people who have never been consumed by vengeance and left hollow husks, nor know anyone who has. Like are you sure?
I'm a sensitive young man touring New England for antiquarian and genealogical studies. Oh no! A horrible monster that's too terrible to describe! It's 8.43 feet tall and has pantone 3278 colored skin, it's 6.8 inch horns are spaced about 4.782 inches apart on it's flat toad like face and also they
Business cat deserved worse

Hasn't Seattle been on par with Philly for a while? The combined Walk/Bike/Transit share is about the same even with more WFH in Seattle
Lot of this in new dev in the US too, at least on the west coast. It's just out past 40 miles of 10-40k sq ft pre-08 sprawl hell
Westlake in Seattle still looks pretty good after 30? ish years, not sure what the substrate is
You read Summer of Fire and Blood? Seems very your shit
No it's a random chunk in Bellevue, right after bel-red station.
That's not entirely true, there's a short street running segment that just opened last year, it was mostly happenstance that kept the rest grade separated. Going forward it all should be though.
To be entirely fair this is not exactly an easy thing to do. I still think they could move Sounder S to the interurban RoW and electrify
Where are trains overpacked outside of the ID-Lynnwood segment? Maybe Stadium immediately after games, which is perfectly acceptable. Also, Calgary's line do share tracks through downtown, where they're probably running at lower speeds and just using manual driving.
A two-car Link train is about the same length as a Skytrain but they never run those anymore, it's all four-car sets
This was supposed to happen a while ago but construction defects delayed it, and they can't go any higher right now because the LRVs needed are on the other side of said bridge. Core frequency is probably limited to 3-4 min with current signals
