B1873 Victoria Lawrence in Leeds, by 1890s living in Osborne Terrace, Clapham Road (not sure about the lodger). She was extremely famous in UK & US and the song ‘Daddy Wouldn’t Buy Me a Bow Wow’ written for her.*
Vesta Victoria was born November 1873, for #songsheetsaturday here's her 1897 hit written by Fred Murray & Laurence Barclay. 'Our Lodger's Such a Nice Young Man'. He's such a good, goody young man, Mamma told me so, 'he kissed Mamma and all of us, cos Papa was away.'

Actress Elsa Lanchester b1902 Lewisham, also lived Norwood, Clapham, Catford & Battersea in childhood. She left for Hollywood in 1930s, most famous role Bride of Frankenstein.
She died 1986, her remains have now been discovered in a rose garden in N Hollywood
