Such a thing was somewhat possible with Indiana Jones though it is easily considered the "minimum" way to play the game

If this is a shooter and it's compatible for play on the Deck, I'd be upset about not being able to use mouse controls at the very least.
On the other hand, I bind my weapons to my back buttons for Doom Eternal using a keyboard so yeah...
I'm against it. At least make it an option 😁
