I did it!!! I won the $5K Modern RCQ at #MXPPhoenix, going 9-1 and getting an invite to a @starcitygames.bsky.social RC & an invite to the next @laughingdragonmtg.bsky.social MXP 32-player Invitational where the winner gets a PT invite!

Plus I cashed the Standard $20K so it was a great weekend!

My favorite story at #MCAtlanta was meeting Vess, who came to my Meet & Greet. She told me about her 7yo niece and when Vess was teaching her @magic.wizards.com , her niece said “but it’s a boys’ game” and then Vess showed her some pictures/videos of me to show otherwise.

One of the great things about events like #MCAtlanta is the gathering that extends outside & here I am at dinner w/ teen Aaron & his mom, teens Evan & Jameson & their dad, my dad @adamfischer71.bsky.social , & one of my dad’s old friends - it was great meeting old & new friends alike!

I ended the event at 6-2 which wasn’t Top 32 but was good enough to win a box of #MTGxSpiderman and I ended up 2 spots higher than my dad @adamfischer71.bsky.social (who also went 6-2).
