Angel stares blankly out the window, and Husk reaches for his hand. "It's okay, love. Whatever damage there is, we'll fix it."
'Whatever damage' is worse than Husk could imagine. Miraculously, Husk's casino is still standing
-just barely. Not a window remains intact, and there's holes blown into the sides. But, the main supports hold steady.
The cry Angel lets out breaks Husk's heart. His club— his home—lies in complete ruin. It's a pile of burning rubble, still smoking days later. A few sinners loot through the remains, trying to salvage what's left.
Before the Extermination, Husk thought it would be him who ended up with nothing, not Angel.
Husk clenches his jaw, jumping out of the car before it comes to a complete stop. Sella is waiting for him on the crumbling front staircase, gazing silently at the remains of Silk. They look worse for wear: hair tangled and singed at the ends, cuts and bruises painting their skin, tail anxiously swishing back and forth.
"You came back." They stare at Husk, a million emotions flooding their features.

House holds pro forma sessions every few days. Even today. It’s on their schedule! The purpose: meet Article I, Sec. 5 “three-day rule.” No gaps of more than 3 days are permitted without Senate OK. Two Florida Republicans were sworn in during pro forma earlier this year. So why not Adelita Grijalva?
