I actually gave Giada's hair a lot more form, from a bob cut to the unique one that she has now. I had a lot of throuble to find an hairstyle that suited her and the jojo vibe, and I struggled a lot to draw it in the beginning, but in the end I'm really happy with it. (9/10)

The second one is actually Raffaella Carrà! She was one of the most influential singer, dancer, television presenter, actress and model in Italy. A strong and important woman of the italian television (in the 80s and 90s), with her iconic bob cut. (8/10)

Her face and hair have two major inspirations. The first one is "Mia Wallace" from Pulp Fiction, from her hair to her lineaments. I wanted to give her the "femme fatale" look, a strong and independent feel. (7/10)

In the end, with some minor adjustments and after the definition of the final style, I was really satisfied with her design! It rapresents perfectly her personality and struggles. As you can see... her hair changed a lot too with the evolution. (6/10)

Thats why the pattern of the leather, that was first limited to the chest, is moved it to one side of her clothes. Her boots changed a lot too, from much lower shoes to high leather boots, giving her more elegance and silouette. (5/10)

Her clothes are also inspired from the "sbandieratori" of Florence, literally "flag-wavers". They perform during big events (Easter, "Florentine Historical Football", etc.) and are a big part of the traditions of the Tuscanian region. (Photos from bandieraidegliuffizi. it) (4/10)

I wanted to cover almost all her body and play with black and white, using fabric and leather. I also liked the idea of belts "keeping together" the outfit, and decorating them with spheres that will be useful for her stand, giving the outfit a dynamic feel (3/10)

I had defined basic informations about her personality in May 2022, but I needed a design for the protagonist of the manga. It all started with inspirations from already made designs, that lead to a first sketch, to have a starting point wich I later refined. (2/10)
