The fact that Little was even an option in their minds at that point had disaster written all over it. One run lead, 8th inning, 6 outs to get. Little shouldn't have been anywhere close to being an option.

Little was lights out earlier this season but he was so overused to the extent that he led the AL in appearances. Everyone and their dog has so much video on him, he no longer gets swings and misses on his breaking stuff. He's been horrible since July.
