Hello! Count me in, finally on Bluesky. I'm a Long time character at LGF as (satirically) RightWingConspirator. Photgrapher, cat servitor, and occasional writer.
So Trump threatens Iran over how it treats protesters while his ICE troops kill and arrest American dissenters. Astonishing hypocrisy.

Trump administration enforces a jarring double standard: assaulting police is "peaceful” for loyalists, yet fleeing them constitutes “terrorism” for critics. This erases objective law, making safety hinge on fealty. Policing is no longer a public service; it is a weapon against political enemies.
Trump Has Odd Views on Domestic Terrorism
The president seems to think that beating police officers is 'peaceful,' but attempting to flee from them is terrorism.

Having a bad day? This is one solution we have at my home. Its not for everyone, but it is super effective and quite rewarding.

Downtown Los Angeles has its problems. Dirty, sometimes dangerous. But sometimes wonderful. Love what they did with that big blank wall.

Great hearing. Someone opened up a can clear at the other end of the house. Habibi woke, sat up and took notice.

Caturday fun. New tree for the cats. Of course young Habibi was first at it.

I love Christmas for one simple but powerful reason. "Goodwill toward all men". Its a reminder how simple it is to set aside anti immigration and racist impulses.

Has anyone at all explained why problems Venezuela has are something America needs to solve? Why us, why now?

This is precisely why the 1st Amendment is the most important part of our Constitution. The part worth fighting for, impeaching for. If you vote GOP, you are voting against this amendment.

CNN - "People briefed on the September ‘double-tap’ strike said they were concerned that it could violate the law of armed conflict"

Going back to kill the wounded is illegal. Immoral. Horrific by every humane measure. I'm ashamed of this by my elected government. Let the alarm bells ring.

On a more cheerful note, my formerly feral kitten is growing into a happy and healthy cat.

Never thought to see a President claiming a call to defend the constitution and for our military people to disobey illegal orders is sedition. Or claim the penalty is death.

Yet here we are. Maybe the scariest part is the lack of outrage.

Seems to me there will be a post Trump look back very similar to how we now look at McCarthyism and the gilded age. Staying healthy, employed and reasonably happy in the meantime is just gonna be hard.

Headline says LA considering state of emergency over ICE raids.

Why is the headline not state of emergency over ICE abandoning due process? Obey the law, no emergency

Downtown Los Angeles can be beautiful in the early morning.

Remember what we saw this week. ICE cops are essential and getting paid. Air traffic controllers are not getting paid. Which do you consider essential?

So Trump wants to bring back coal and battleships.

Next up, typewriters and the cavalry. After all they too were under assault too. By reality and technology.

Battleships? Billy Mitchell is laughing his ass off from the grave.

Let me boil down a ton of news and opinions.

The 1st Amendment applies to us all. At all times. Every encroachment is worth the fight to push back.

Need I point out the reaction if a Dem President tried any of this?

Yesterday we took our kitten Habibi in for neutering surgery. All went well. Apparently he is loved by the staff there.

It's just astonishing how the Senate, Congress and our media put up with the near elimination of our 1st A rights. The President and VP threaten critical speech. Weapinized it. Never in my life has this happened before. The left never threatened the 2nd A like Republicans and MAGA attack the 1st.
