Thank you for standing up for democracy. The republican party is drunk on power and in their idiocy will contribute to a weaker Texas and weaker America. Pathetic excuse for legislators. As my state senator, thank you for standing up for democracy, what is right and calling out what is wrong!

I contacted my U.S. rep and both senators to convey the same message that they are accountable to us and not the president. All three are republicans so I’m not holding my breath as I’m expecting them to continue bowing down to their idol.

Of course he will never admit he backed down and will claim some type of victory.
