Thank you to the wonderful students from Orchard Hill College for putting me to the test in their interview with me in Parliament this week.

It was great to discuss the need to champion SEND further education in Parliament with people who have first-hand experience.

I visited @SRTRC_England's parliamentary drop-in.

This organisation has a rich history of tackling racism at every level of society and I'm hugely grateful for the work they doing in schools - including recently at Glebe Primary School in Ickenham!

It was a pleasure to return to Moorcroft this year and meet their amazing students.

🎉 Congrats to PureGym on their grand opening in Yiewsley!

It was great meeting the team, getting a tour of the brand-new space – and hearing that thousands of members have already signed up. Fantastic to bring an empty building back into use too! 💪

Moments That Count have been raising awareness of Secondary Breast Cancer.

This shared powerful stories of those living with the diagnosis and undergoing treatment.

Such a powerful exhibition in the heart of Parliament.

Military accommodation needs to be fit for the heroes they are housing.

That's why this Labour Government is refurbishing a whopping 90% of military homes, including those in Uxbridge and South Ruislip.

Great to see the Government has published their HIV Action Plan that will boost prevention, expand access to treatment, and tackle stigma

📉 The SEND system, in its current form is failing a generation of children.

🗓️ In September, I held a consultation on the upcoming reforms to hear what parents and teachers need.

📣 I presented these findings to Minister Gould to ensure Uxbridge and South Ruislip’s voices are heard.

A tourist levy is long overdue and would allow investment in local communities, boost funding for public services and policing.

Last night I spoke in Parliament about what a tourist levy can do for communities across London.

🚗 Learners are being forced to deal with exploitative third parties to book tests.

✉️ I signed a letter with Labour MPs to end this malpractice.

✅ Great to see the Government listening and delivering reforms to make driving tests fairer & more accessible.

Fireworks can be a great way to mark a celebration, but for many – from ex-servicemen and women to pet owners – firework season is far from a happy occasion.

I joined the Firework Impact Coalition to hear opinions around fireworks regulation including noise limits.

Following the success of our local campaign to keep Hayes Police Station’s front desk — now’s the time to keep pushing.

Community policing matters, and I’ll continue pushing for the reopening of the front desk at Uxbridge Police Station.

Another week, another win.

A constituent in an extra care facility needed a new care package to meet their needs.

My team raised it with the housing provider, kept pushing — and now they’ve got the support they need. 💪

When I visited the Uxbridge Cadets, it was clear just how valuable the Government’s target to increase cadet numbers by 30% by 2030 is.

But to make sure we achieve this goal, we must support the incredible volunteers who make it all possible.
