Mr. Beat makes a comparison between the 2020's and the 1890's. History doesn't repeat, but it does rhyme. I find this interesting because Trump often compares himself to President McKinley, who also enacted sky-high tariffs. That Presidency did not end happily.

I am a bit older and started graduate school in 1980, just before AIDS emerged in the gay communities in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York.
