I think one of the hardest habits to kick as a creator and a performer is constantly telling people that I could be better at something than I am.
When I verbalize that insecurity, I feed it, and I put my friends/audience in the position of having to assuage my fear instead of appreciate my art.

Here's a handy video of some warm-up exercises you can do to help get yourself prepared to shovel! Obviously, adjust them to your fitness level, but the main goal is get yourself warmed up for physical activity. You can't go from 0 to 60 here, & you'll get a better idea of what you can handle!
