When we began the process, we were already over forty, and the doctor told us our chances of conceiving were just 3%. Even if successful, there was a high risk of genetic abnormalities. It was an incredibly difficult journey—emotionally for both of us, and physically especially for my wife.

After years of infertility treatment, my wife and I were finally told, “No problems,” by the doctor. Tears of joy filled our eyes. The sunset we saw from the parking lot in Enoshima that day became the most beautiful and unforgettable moment of our lives.
