I’m finding it all so frightening and the media coverage irresponsible. This is real life and extremely serious in many different ways and has implications for us all. Media needs to step up and do some serious impartial reporting now. But it won’t.

I spoke to Jayson Heynis this morning, a US tourist visiting Bangkok. He was on the top of floor the tallest hotel in Thailand, Baiyoke Sky Hotel, when the earthquake struck. He filmed this video before he was evacuated safely - along with other guests.
