Looks like decided at the last moment to include European royalty style in the pack ( instead of making the pack African themed completely) and it came out like this 😆
The ( West) African influenced outfits are WAY better and they had a whole team work on that. Dunno who they consulted for these ..

I have a huge amount of respect for the Sims team for reaching out to cultural experts in crafting Africa and East Asian outfits, but I do wish they would talk to someone (me) about western male formalwear, because, seriously, what the shit is this wank?

This unlocks all the rewards immediately and without fuss.

The new family tree is also...a bit weird and not very clear ( it has been reported, I've not done the update myself yet as I expected this kind of mess).
It's great when they change functionality to improve things, but it can wreck things badly.

Nice huh, those new stair railings and stairs functionality!
But now build from before Feb 3 will have No railings at all.
Why they can't test these things before they release the update ...

And for the Love of Jeebus, take out the mod folder! Not just switch off mods, the game will update with the mod folder in and that can already break things. Thread carefully!

⚠️ The issue with the update has been fixed. It looks like it’s safe to update now. I already downloaded it and tested it, and everything seems fine.

There's currently some issues with the patch. Hold off with saving the game on the new version. If you restart EA app your game probably reverts to the old version.

If you don't want to do the update right away today. Got to your Settings in the EA app ( 3 lines on top left) and choose to not auto update.
Then you can just pick Go Offline to play the game.
You won't be able to access the Gallery when you do, so download/upload anything you want to before.
