As a parent of two non-verbal autistic children - including a seven-year-old not unlike Max - this is a sad and terrifying story. Parents fight to ensure their children get all the same opportunities, and most educators and school administrators genuinely want to help, but exclusions are real.
Max Simao loved going to school. It was one of his three favourite things.
In October,he was sent home early, because the school didn't have an educational assistant to support him.
On December 11th, Max was sent home again. That afternoon, he was struck and killed by a bus. (1/4)

Still upset about last night's Sens game. I think criticism is fair about how goalies have played this year, and how the club has handled the position.
Don't think we can treat Ullmark like he's letting the team down because he's on leave, though. Should be the same as if he was physically hurt.
