I have an odd craving for the blood of a live kolar beast...and to watch 'Caretaker' again.

In 'Ethics' in TNG Picard basically says Worf's request to Riker to help him die should be respected because of his culture, however in 'Sons of Mogh' in DS9 Sisko chews him out for killing Kurn after he felt his honour had been lost.
I value life but I think Picard & Riker got it right, not Sisko.

Since it's a holiday week, heads-up that we will have an episode this week, but not about Star Trek Enterprise! Instead we'll be going on an away mission to visit a movie that every straight HS boyfriend in the 90s was forcing their girlfriends to watch. Trust us, you will NOT be disappointed.

You might want to re-examine the order that you have DS9 episodes in P+

I think my favourite part of 'Violations' comes right at the end when Jev tries to assault Deanna again but she resists and kicks his...derriere, before Worf comes in and just decks him with one hit.
I still believe Deanna would have gotten the better of Jev without intervention by her crewmates.

Bal was under marked.
Alex and George were over marked.
Lewis will make the final but won't win.
Amber will fall at the final hurdle.
Kaz will be crowned the winner #strictly #blackpool

Did not see this coming.
I haven't always agreed with MTG but lately she's been magnificent.

The President's response though is typical and repugnant!

Fair play UEFA. It takes courage to admit a mistake.

This was heavy handed. You turned a moment of joy for the nation into a cheap argument over viewing rights.

The reaction to us qualifying should have been a marketing triumph for you.

Chris from @firstflightpod.bsky.social is back for the absolute classic TOS episode Amok Time.

I love @shelfnerds.bsky.social’s insight and intelligence to this and other episodes. If you can handle more than 365 seconds, head to First Flight and give him a listen!

On today's episode, we're on a 2nd contact mission, revisiting the ENT episode Canamar, which we realize is actually just the Star Trek version of ConAir (ConAirMar?). Also, in our Mammary Alpha segment, we learn about the absolutely bananas Memory Alpha page for “balls” (no, not THOSE balls).
