Items slowly rotating and hovering 10-20 cm off the ground, and disappearing as soon as you touch them.

Like, how is it hovering? Why does it disappear when you touch it? Why does it show up in miniature form in my pocket? What is happening???!?

Bungie's done nothing but make blunder after blunder in recent times. Their reputation is in the gutter, the CEO f*cked off with millions in his pocket, countless layoffs, plagiarism in Marathon, etc. etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if they announced a full closure of D2 before Q1 2027.

Now it does beg the question of what a "lovable villain" even is. Like, is it a "love to hate" or a "hate to love" kind of villain? is it a villain with lots of charisma? Is the villain the protagonist, and the good guy the antagonist? Is it a misunderstood and "villainized" character by society?

America has a considerable history of car-centric infrastructure design, and massive amounts of lobbying from car and fuel companies to incentivize road construction, and de-incentivize train/bus/bike infrastructure, so that much is true. But it shouldn't be the #1 issue on people's minds right now.

I don't get it either. Why not put on a nice pair of noise cancelling headphones so you can hear your music (or the other person on the phone call) better, while also not bothering people around you? Even cheap headphones these days can have some form of ANC, and those that don't, can seal tight.

He accidentally said the quiet part out loud on live television. "Plenary" means "absolute" or "total", as in, no restrictions whatsoever, and that's clearly not the case, legally, right now at least. Miller is pulling a lot of strings behind the scenes to make that a reality, and he slipped up.

That last one is going to backfire, because Russia has an enormous underground network of shell companies and buyers and sellers and smugglers who procure the stuff locally and legally and smuggle it back to Russia through private individuals and the like. They don't sell directly to Russia.

It's always a shame when a game can't be developed to its developer's vision, but such is the gamble with Early Access, and the volatile market that video games are currently in.

A shame about HLB, I had hopes it would find its footing after the rocky EA launch, but seems it wasn't meant to be.

This sleeper hit from 2003 was originally meant to be the first in a trilogy, but then Swingin' Ape Studios got absorbed into Blizzard, and the IP was put on ice. It's now in limbo with no plans for a continuation.

I am honestly wondering if there even is a valid tactic against people who are in the Flat Earth community. Because I don't think it's so much a genuine belief in a flat Earth as it is a feeling of community among "like-minded" people, wanting to feel as if they're smarter than other people.
