As the days got colder, I caught myself baking more and more often. No matter the storms outside and the chaos in the world around me, the warmth and nourishment of homemade food always calms me down and brings a sense of safety.

Behind numbers and statistics lie human lives, memories, and culture that are impossible to measure. Invaluable and irreplaceable.

For centuries, Russians did everything to silence 🇺🇦 voices, and they continue doing it today, not only physically, but also on a cultural level. Just look at how many books, movies, etc., about or by Russians receive attention and awards. It never stops. Please support and amplify Ukrainian culture!
Today, I shared a beautiful autumn poem by Ukrainian writer Mykola Rudenko. It wasn’t translated before. The poem describes this cold season perfectly – and it is not only about the weather.

I believe this post deserves more attention! Please amplify the works of Ukrainian artists, so more people can discover Ukrainian culture. It’s painful to watch how the world continues its obsession with Russian culture as if no other cultures exist.
Autumn, 1960. A watercolor painting by Ukrainian artist Kateryna Bilokur. If you haven’t heard about this artist before, read a story of her incredible life below. You will be touched, inspired, shocked, and very moved.
