The reds of the bough's ribbons and the green of the misteltoe have been filled in, and some minor details have begun to be thrown down.

Some time later. The shading behind the words "Jazzy Fuckin' Holidays" now has a slow fade in to yellow,and the medallion reading OUR 5TH YEAR now has some more definition to it. The stars and show in the bacground now are flecked with gold and white, and the leaves and tiny mistletoe berries up top now have some minor shading to them.

Continuing even further...the border now glows in shiny golden-red, and the J, F, and H embossed capitals now have green and red embellishments. The medallion now glows golden, and the figure's eye now shines even brighter and her hair now sports deep highlights.

White glowing light has been added behind the lettering, and even more glow has been added to help the figure and the flowing bough stand out from the background.

a homemade rice bowl nearly full of rice and curry split down the middle, with jeera basmati rice on the left and Japanese golden curry with bean sprouts, sweet potatoes, snap peas, carrots, water chestnuts, and a touch of mushroom soy sauce on the right. the whole dish is covered in nori furekake.

The artist is currently working on inks for this piece, and about half of the visible piece is awash in delicate linework.
