The LAW states: "While illegal aliens are typically barred from receiving most federal benefits, including Medicaid, the program covers emergency services for illegal aliens, allowing those here illegally," "to receive benefits funded by taxpayers."

OK well first off johnson cited the skewed take of jody arrington (R) CBO but it's not the CBO he quotes. It's the report from arrington. It also covers 2017-2023, so not just a single year.

We can give $20 billion to Argentina but we can’t:
Afford to fund rural clinics
Feed hungry American families
Maintain Medicaid
Support Public Schools
Maintain FEMA
Tax the uber wealthy
Publicly fund federal elections
Fully staff our courts
